RE:              2008 HODAG COUNTRY FESTIVAL FUNDRAISER

Time to begin scheduling for the Hodag Country Festival Fundraiser! Please distribute this information widely to your players, parents, and friends! Every hour worked is money for your club! Hours will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis determined by postmark date if hard copy mailed or by date sent if electronically mailed.

Please note there are changes from previous years:

1) Please open the attached volunteer form CLICK HERE

2) Fill out form online and email it to ddonnerw@newnorth.net by May 2nd 2008

3) If you are unable to email the form, then please print and mail to....

4) Shifts will only be filled by emailing, or mailing the attached sheet

5) Hours will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis

6) During staking, students under 16 must be accompanied by a working adult

7) Forms WILL NOT be accepted at the high school or by Coach Millot. Please fill out one form per person, not per couple. For questions, call me at 282-4925.

8) Shifts are listed below. There is a number in parentheses after each shift that denotes the number of persons needed. Please consider this number when requesting shifts. The number does not include supervisors and bookkeepers.

9) STAKING will begin June 23rd. Students (grades 9-12) can only earn hours staking. Students who work 18 hours or more will be eligible for a free admission wristband.

Staking hours are:
Monday June 23rd through Friday June 27th 4:30pm - 8:00pm
Saturday June 28th 8:00am - until finished

Hours will be worked only until the staking has been completed. Staking will be completed in rain or shine unless there is lightning. Bring rain gear and sunscreen. Please bring hammers and tape measure if you can. Snack and beverage will be provided each evening.

10) CAMPING TICKET SALES will begin Friday, July 4th for adults (18 years and older and out of high school). Volunteers must work 22 hours or more (6 during the main concert weekend) to be eligible for a free admission weekend wristband and one free campsite in the Elk Pen camping area. Shift hours are below. Duties include selling tickets, working camping office, directing traffic, trouble shooting, and patrolling campgrounds. Food and beverages will be provided. You cannot combine hours worked by others to get the free wristband!

Please consider being a supervisor!
And, remember, night shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) receives time and a half for your club!
